I think upto 10% of error in baud is tolerable.

As the bit is tested in the middle of the clock.

so if one clock pulse is 8% out then calculate in 10 clocks (for 10bit) what will be the offset in sending/receiving one byte.

Every next byte starts from clock reset.

So if one byte is sent 100% correct then its OK
