I am using the MAX692A. It is a transition sensitive pin. I took the 50ns pulse requirement to mean that both the high and low time have to be at least 50ns. Even though the low time is greater than 50ns, it may not recognize the 10ns high time as high and properly detect a transition. I haven't tested it yet, but I figured dividing it would be the best approach. Even dividing it by two gives you a 300ns pulse. Flip flops are plentiful. Cory Spackman |
