So it sounds many times harder to develop for 6502,6800 and 6808 as for the 8051 family.
On 8051 you need no ROM emulator, since cheap Flash derivates with ISP / IAP exist (e.g. Atmel AT89S8252, T89C51RD2 and many from Philips). Also the Dallas DS5000 with internal NV-SRAM available. Maybe a reason to switch to the 8051 ? Peter |
