 		 #18669 - questions about watchdog and timer
Dear all,

I am new to 8051 programming, I would like to ask what is "watchdog" ?
The second question is whether the timer is a program which run in the background? if yes, is it the only one that can run in the background? On the other hand, can I program threads in 8051 programming using assembly language.
