Hi,

Is it possible to design a circuit/interface to allow a peripheral (LCD and or keypad) to be connected to an 8052 based project while the 8052 is operating ?

Is it simply having the power applied to the peripheral before the peripheral connects to the address/data/control lines (using longer power pins on the connector) or is there more to it ?
