and that defeats the whole point of the One-Wire bus! I used it because in this way I don't need to keep track of sensor addresses and changing a sensor does not require changing address, stored in microcontroller. In this application I used skip rom command to read temperature directly and without knowing its address. "pull up (8kohm) on data line." Sounds a bit high? I even used LED diode and (I think 2kohm) resistor so I can see when sensor reading is in process. regards, Damjan |
