#19134 - Fluke 9010A Clarification |
This is just a clarification of what the 9010A does.
The 9010a is a generic trouble shooter with Pods for various microcontrollers/processors, including the 8051. One of the nice features of this device is it's ability to find shorted/open pins on the board under test. As well as being able to exercise the entire system, manually and programatically. Another neat feature is a probe that is synced to either data or address signals on the multiplexed bus. The device has since been discontinued by fluke. And is availble used (www.tucker.com). But I havent found anything like it except a full blown emulator system. I have found it a very handy device for troubleshooting those 'DEAD' controller assemblies, that 'no one' could fix. Martin |
