#19232 - RE: pci - microcontrollers interface |
Hi !
First let me tell you.. PCI interfacing is not as easy as ISA or some other. and the details from PCI-SIG (I guess ) is not Free. more over it works at 33MHz ..needs proper termination !. Well First read an article on "PCI Bus Prototyping Card" in "elektor-electronics". In India it was in May 2001 and I guess in UK Feb 2001. Once u'r PCI card is ready, It has get recognised by the PCI Bridge well BIOS has the code to recognise it.. but if BIOS doen't get it recognised ..Then there is nothing OS can do.
