#19350 - Creating your own ISP programming kit fo |
Hello Everyone,
Firstly let me congratulate the people behind this wonderful 8051 forum. As you'd have guessed, I'm new to this forum. I'm working with Philips 89C51 RC2 and using a PC-based programmer kit for ' burning ' the code in the device. There seems to be a way to do ISP programming directly on the target kit without using additional hardware ( except for a MAX 232 kit ) and a few probes to certain pins (TxD ,RxD, RST etc.) I don't wan't to remove the 8951 from the kit while I try out my programs and see the results then and there itself. This could save a lot of development time. Does anyone know if this approach will work along with softwares like WinISP ? Thanks in advance ! - Rana Bhattacharya ( pointer2rana@yahoo.co.in ) |
