#1960 - RE: Dallas RTC (DS1305) SPI Interface |
I'm working on a datalogging program using Atmel's 8051 range and a DS1305 real time clock. I chose the SPI clock because im also using external SPI flash memory. Ive tested it and it seems to be working fine. By the way im a hobbyist and this is really a trivial piece of code, my first real project. All you need is a good simulator like Pinnacle52 and a decent 8051 book and you should have it sussed. If not, email me, tell me what routines you need and ill email them to you. But I warn you, one thing ive found out as i learn embedded systems is that writing your own code is sometimes easier than deciphering someone elses! Having said that, i read some old code of mine and i couldnt believe i wrote it!! |
