#19608 - EEPROM from factory question. |
Hi,
What's the probability that a fresh EEPROM (the internal EEPROM of the HC11F1 actually) from the distributor would have the very first byte programmed with 0 and the 2nd byte programmed as 2? I'm asking because in a very old product that I've done while I first started doing embedded work, I've used the first two bytes as an indication of the very first time that software is run on the micro. I had used the pattern of 0x0002. I've learned to use better patterns now. Andy |
