How have you connected the other control lines?.

** P1.0 is connected to A16 of 128K NVSRAM
** AT89C52 is the MCU used
** RTC used is DS12C887
** This RTC is having a Multiplexed Address abd data lines
**Presently I have connected the RTC's adrress/data lines to port-0 of MCU.

I am unable to get data read from RTC
