#19964 - RE: proprietary LCD: Any ideas for controls? |
Well, not really a scrap board... I'm trying to make an 'upgrade' micro for an existing system, adding more functions, etcetera. Everything works excellent so far, but it has a status output on the LCD, and while the display is completely worthless, if I'm going to make the chip at all, I'd like for it to do everything it does stock and more :)
I don't have any equipment, really, but that's alright: I had thought about making a parallel port monitor, but I wanted to see if anyone knew a quicker solution; I don't believe I've ever programmed anything signifigant for a pc before (lol). Anyone got a good link to some reference for pc parallel port interfacing? |
