Hi All! Mr. Alfredo and Mr. Gopal have given pretty straight forward answers. Exactly like I was expecting, and waiting to hear. (in a yes or no fashion)

Do others agree with them?? I have given example for P87C52 (Philips) or AT89C52 (ATMEL). I am only concerned with these chips right now.

Actually the thing is that memory (external code and data memory) is being built in an FPGA. So the guy who writes the RTL should know what address should he be concerned with! Should he subtract something or not. I asked a local guy in my country who has been working on microcontrollers but has been out of touch for about 2 to 3 years now. He also said what both the above mentioned helpers said.

I thank you both and wait for others to agree/disagree regarding the concerned chip.
