could you give some suggestions if you have experience with interfaceing a micro using rs232. Ive designed a breakout box that should display the bit rate on the LCD and the rs232 lines state (rxd = 0 cts = 1 etc...)

my real problem is writeing assembler for the 8051 I can e-mail the capture design + other material to give you a better idea on what im trying to achieve.
