I am writing an interface in Visual
Basic 6.0 on the PC.
I need to establish comminications
using com1 of the Serial port of the PC
which connects to a 8052 microcontroller
board. I need some good sample code
for both the PC and the 8052 for the
communications between the two. I have
been reading "Serial Port Complete"
by Jan Anxel but still not getting the
big picture. Am I making it harder than
it really is? Let's say for simplicity
I want the 8052 to send "hello" to
a text box In visual basic back at the PC. What would be the code for both
the 8052 and the Visual Basic at the PC?
