I'm trying to use an AT89C52 24PI . rst - 4k7 to gnd and 10uF , EA - 4k7 to VCC, Q-20Mhz + 33pF.
I program the AT89C52 with programmer made by me found on Atmel pdf DOC510.pdf (Using a Personal Computer to Program
the AT89C51/C52/LV51/LV52/C1051/C2051 ) and pc52-3 (modified to work on my computer - timing problems).
I can program the AT89C52 , verify , erase .. no problem.
The problem is that any program I tried to execute on AT89C52 didn't work.
Example:
; Test port 1.0
P1 data 090H
org 0
mov P1,#00H
end
compiled with asm51.exe (or as31.exe)
I think that every pin on P1 (1-8 on AT89C52) shoud be pulled down to gnd.
I test it whith a led . All P1 remaind HI.
Can you tell me please what I doing wrong or if the microcontroler in dameged.
( On programmer it work - program flash ,erase, verify, read, read signature bits (030h)=1EH , (031H)=52H , (032H)=FFH )
