#20847 - RE: Job postings/searching |
I'm with Erik & Hal: keep this site doing what it does well - 8052 techie stuff.
There are already plenty of site which do job searching well; I think it's best to let them do what they do well, rather than dilute your fine efforts from the techie stuff. A jobs page would necessarily require storing some personal info - this could have implications with privacy and/or data protection legislation. There may also be legislation relating to employment-related advertising. I'm not sure how a single site would cope with the worldwide jobs market - another reason for leavinging it with the existing jobs sites, which already have their local/national target audiences defined. There may be legislative issues with personal info, |
