What control and measurement resolution are you trying to achieve with your controller ? The CA3059 was such a nice part to use too ! There are plenty of ZVC and opto isolated triacs that you can use to fire your load, though I would suggest the United Automation products which have all the guts in it you need - If you generate a PWM signal you can drive their power controllers directly.
