Just few days ago i raised query about difficulty in initilising lcd. It is glad to let you know that now i have found the way.
But now i am facing new problem. i am able to use only first 8 locations in 16x1 lcd display. whatever data i send to lcd , it displays only first 8 letters & doesn't display anything beyond that.
i read the " SEIKO " document about lcds. From that i came to know that DDRAM address of 9th location is 40h
So the control word to be sent to initialise the lcd for accessing the 9th location comes out to be C0h. i have tried this also but still the problem ramains unsolved.
