Just had a look at this, good to see lots of detailed instructions. However, one thing is confusing me.

On page http://www.8052.com/tcpip/hardware.phtml the diagram which shows how to connect the 8051 to an ISA 16 bit card does not show D0 .. D7 as requiring a connection to the 8051.

Is this really the case? If so, I'm struggling to understand how the data from the ISA network card gets to the 8051.
