#21270 - scheduling latency=context switch time?
hi;
this a question related to scehdulers used in commercial kernels for 8052.i referred some literature on various RTOSes.
1.RTOS like QNX(for x86)define scheduling latency as time taken from end of isr to invocation of thread attached to it.they do not take into account time spent in isr in this.
2.some literature in realtime-info.be,shows an illustration in which ISR execution time is taken into account while evauating dispatch latency.
what do the popular kernels like
CMX(200-300microsec) and Keil(180-700microse for standard task)include in their evaluations?
can anybody who has worked on any of these kernels give me some idea?
regards
pranav
