At your crystal speed a reload value of FFF4 will yield an actual baud rate of 9160 with an error of over 4.5%. Using FFF5 will give a baud rate of 9993 with an error of over 4.1%
It really depends on how tolerant the device you are communicating with is to that much error. If you can, try using a different crystal that will give you more accurate results, such as 11.059Mhz or 14.7456Mhz. Hal |
