Hi Mattew,
Read your I2C parts data sheets closely; you'll see that most of the timing numbers are minimums...timing isn't that critical, but you probably won't be able to get the maximum performance out of the interface either. As an I2C master talking to an I2C slave (EEPROM, etc.) you control the timing so the bus is as fast (but again probably not at the maximum speed) or slow as you want it to be. Dennis |
