#21466 - RE: Atmel ISP with Notebook FLIP Hint |
Hi Bert
I'm using the Keil Compiler, which I appreciate very much. I found the example of ATMEL too abstract to get to know the functions and the registers of the controller. I took then the version on the homepage of keil, which is good written code with just the right abstraction (for my taste). To download code, you just use the FLIP.EXE (V1.49) program (original ATMEL). Beware: newer CC01's are available also with CAN loader. If you want to be able to update code via CAN, you should order these, but for startup, you better take the serial version. Hardware: to use ISP you should be able to access the RXD, TXD and the PSEN (ALE floating, EA/ tied to VCC). The PSEN line need to be forced to GND during RESET, thus it enters the program mode. Beware, to use Pullup resistors on Port 0, if used as a normal Port. Good luck! Werner |
