#21644 - RE: the correct link, Peter: |
Hi Gil,
maybe, there is an older page in your cache, so you should press the reload button of your browser. The direct link: http://www.specs.de/~danni/ap.../index.htm The main reason to start this project was to check, if the 8051 can do the job, especially also for a wide range of input frequencies. Especially its two level interrupt capability helps a lot. So doing it on using an AVR device seems many times harder. Quintessentially that it would no longer fit into 2kB of the AT90S2313 (AVR counterpart of the AT89C2051). Also I want to replace my old counter built with standard logic circuits. It has an excellent resolution on high frequencies but bad results on some hundred Hz and below. Peter |
