Do you actually need to measure the 14kV, or just detect a spark event?
For detection, a wire wrapped around the HT lead would probably give sufficient coupling? "voltage deviders (sic) and so on, can't be used." Why ever not? OK, you'd need to use HT resistors and careful layout - but the principle's the same |
