#21930 - RE: V.V. large memory with 8051 |
The Triscend E5 has a 24-bit external address bus, and DMA.
There's recently been a thread about using SIMMs etc with 8051 - try a 'Search' But if you really need such a huge memory, is the 8051 really appropriate? Are you just making life unnessarily difficult for yourself? What have you got against 16-bit processors? If you go for x86, you can often use PC tools for SW development. |
