As I deal with some of the taiwan made ISA as well as PCI control card, usually, they supplied me with OBJ files rather than LIB files. And it works using normal C compiler.

As for lib files, I only deal with them when I'm programming in Palm OS environment.

That's why I came to think about whether embedded C ompiler could do that as well.
