Hi Ruven,
Any data that is stored in RAM, whether that is IRAM or your external RAM, will not be affected by a hardware reset, unless an initialisation routine does so. From what you describe, it seems to me that there is no initialisation of your data area and therefore the data that was in RAM just before the reset will remain unaltered. Power off/on does affect RAM content, which explains what you see after turning the power off. Best regards, Rob Klein. |
