I'm quite new new to this subject, I hope someone can help. I have been completing a project at college (on the AT89C51) where sensors are displaying their values on an lcd. I also want to transmit the via the serial port and a Max232 and have been using the printf() function. hoever once I introduce it into the programme all my delays stop working. I have tried using timer 1 and timer 2 to no avail, but using delays constructed from loops work okay. I can't find anything in any book about this. Can anyone help?
