Gil, I hadn't had any reports of problems with XP for 8052 Simulator, although it doesn't entirely surprise me.

There is no XP version of 8052 Simulator and most likely will not be. I'm working on a 32-bit version of Pinnacle which most likely will work better under XP--however, I do not use XP and am not going to make any attempt to insure compatability. Both Pinnacle and 8052 Simualtor were compatible with Windows 3.11, 95, and 98. If Microsoft has broken Windows, well, I'm not going to spend time fixing their problems.

I recommend you upgrade back to Win98. It's what I still use.
