#22831 - Re: I/O lines in smartcard, Rob
Hi Rob or everyone who wants to help me!

in my last post I asked how to connect an 8052 to I/O in ISO7816
you pointed me to the fact that ISO I/O is open collector/drain and 8052 is of push/pull type instead
But still I can't figure out how to connect them through a transistor
I think it sguold be something like that:

- I/O lines in ISO pad to collector of bjt with a pullup resistor of 10Kohm
- emitter of bjt to ground
- base of bjt to TxD pin of my uC

is that right? or maybe not, I'm a poor electronic :o)

Best Regards,
teo.
