If so, and it still works, you could do some measurements and find out!

Even if it doesn't fully work, can you measure the supply voltage(s) on the board?
(but treat with caution - in case that's the source of it not working properly!)

Even if it doesn't work at all, you could probably deduce a lot from examining its drive circuits.
