#22988 - lint (not pocket) and other things |
The current issue of embedded sytems programming magazine (free, if you do not get it DO find it on google and subscribe) has an article extolling the virtues of using a lint program. I have used lint for the x86 and have had good results. Last I tried to find a lint program for the '51 what I found was unusable due to the plethora of messages related to legal 51 C extensions. Looking for a selection I stumbled over this link:
www.esacademy.com/automation/faq/8051/4.htm It is a great listing of free and not so free tools for the '51. Finally I'll get around to the question: does anyone know of a lint program that (can easily be modified to) will accept '51 extensions and preferably test them for validity. Thanks in advance Erik |
