Put the incoming data in the accumulator. The PSW (program status word) then contains tha parity of the data.

and what shall i do if parity bit is wrong. Do i through the incomming byte away or do i receive it with a flag indicating parity error?

I think that depends on what you want to do yourself. If you throw the data away, how will the transmitter know ? Probably better to return an ACKnowledge or a NotACKnowledge.
