#24194 - RE: IDE interface |
"I'm looking for a way to copy information from one ide disk onto another."
Do you mean how to get an 8051 to do this, or how to do it in a PC? In a PC, the easiest way would be to get one (or two?) of those removable hard disk caddies, and just use xcopy You can also get adaptors to stick an external HD onto your LPT or USB ports... To get an 8051 to do it, have you looked at the 8052 CD-ROM project in the "Online Projects" - see the sidebar, just below all the buttons. Have you tried a 'Search'? Why would you want to spend time getting an 8051 to do it, when it's easy on a PC, and you say you have the PC anyway? |
