You haven't given much information. Is the problem you can't get the SPI to clock? Is the data not what you expect? Is that data going out or data coming in?

Have you read the data sheet?

There is also an Errata to the data sheet. The SPI on one version of the silicon had a problem and the SPI could only be used in interrupt mode (i.e. you could'nt poll). I dunno if there is a later version of silicon out. Look on their web site.

Also D0 and D1 are shared with the SPI. You can use it for one function OR the other.
