Hi, I've just started trying to figure out how to program microcontrollers and I'm a little confused about some things. I know how to program in C and C++, and I know a bit about electronics, but I don't know how to go about getting the program on the chip or how the chip will implement my program. I can only assume that you somehow connect a computer to the chip and download the program in some manor, but in general i'm lost on how all of this works.
