Thanks for the clarifications,
will it be sufficient to put PSEN low by a jumper and then doing a HW reset to reach the bootloader on a blank device ?
(EA is already high and ALE not connected in my app)

BTW: my datasheet has 113 pages (from the ATMEL hompage) dokument no 4105C-8051-02/02
