 		 #24862 - Are external pull-up\'s required for I2C
I am interfacing DS1307 RTC and AT 24C64 Serial EEPROM to AT89C51 Microcontroller using the I2C interface.

I am using Port pins 3.4 and 3.5 both of which have internal pull-up's for SDA and SCL respectively.

Do I need to connect any external pull-up's to the I2C bus lines?
