#24880 - RS232 Spezification |
The RS232 is spezified for 20000bits/sec with a cablelength of 50ft what ist about 15m. somewhere if found the information that the total capacitance for 20000bits/sec and 50ft (15m) is about 2400 to 2500pF....
Does anybody know where i can find the official spezification of the RS232 explaning the cable length vs. speed and cable capacitance ? especially i need the information for 115200 bits/sec can anybody recommend a cabletyp 8 wires 0,14mm2, maximum outer cable diameter 5,1mm that is "the choice" for 115200 bits / sec for a cable length of 15-25m ???? or suggestions what cable capacitance is okay for that speed and length ... any help is welcome. thanks in advance Michael Schmitt |
