I'm getting the hang of it, but the tutoriols here are pretty much worthless for someone new to microcontrollers. They assume the user knows too much already

Jeff, I'd be interested in your input as to what you feel the tutorials assume that should not be assumed? The tutorials are written to hopefully be understandable by someone coming from programming in any non-embedde environment (Windows, Unix, whatever) and getting into 8052. That's where I came from originally so I tried to write them in a way that I would have understood them when I made that transition.

If you have any feedback as to how the tutorials can be improved or what assumptions should not be made, please let me know either here or via email so that I may improve the tutorials.
