Thanks, I am using AT89C55WD in a production stage product. I just asked the origin cuz I wanted to calculate the freight and my local taxes.

I will talk to our senior procurement officer and also firmware engineer if he will be comfortable with AT89C55 instead of AT89C55WD. The only problem I foresee is absence of WDT.

BTW: I think ATMEL has discontinued this and newer one is AT89C55WD.
