CD 4066 might not be obsolete, but there is absolutely no room for it in pro audio. I choose relays for simplicity, and repeatabillity; simple calculation give resistorvalues for 1,0 db (or whatever you like) pr. step. I could use the SSM switch as philip mentioned......... Audio snobbery?? Maybee, but it avoids these religious discusions about digital ic's in the audiopath. Actualy the signal is comming from a XTA DP226, wich is a DSP based crossover and alignment device! thanx for participation |
