Hello Eric,
Thanks for the information. This post was just for hobbyists/beginners/students who can't affoard the cost of a professional device programmer. I personnaly use ADVIN systems PILOT U-40, but just made this programmer for someone and it was nice, I tested it on a 486, P-I and P-III machines. It does not use the bi-directional feature of the parallel port, no ECP/EPP is required. Once again thanks for the info, I will check the voltage levels and timings on oscilloscope on different computers. Regards IA |
