You may also use any freeware simulator to view the assembly of that binary file. If simulator does not accept BIN files, you will have to convert it to HEX.

But it is unlikely to completely understand the dis-assembled code and make any useful changes,

BTW: IF you are just learning, then it might be OK, but due to any commercial interest, it is un-ethical, and might be an offence also under the local rules.
