Thanks for your valuable time.

I am the victim of this login problem. First of all, let me say that I am not good at operating systems, so please don't mind if you find something wrong in the information, I supply here.

I use the following,

1) WINDOWS 98SE English
2) IE 5 (Ver 5.00.2614.5000)

I think I don't need to repeat the problem, since you know it well. But just one submission.

a) If wrong password is supplied on the main page, I get invalid uername/password
b) If correct is supplied, there are 2 possibilites

1) I get "Hello" on main page, but on next page, I get "Welcome ...
2) I get "Welcome Back" on main page.

In case of b)-1), I goto messgae board, select a thread, and type my reply and then I type my password so that I can login, but it takes me again to the subject list, and says "Welcome Back"

c) I have tried on 3 different PCs, and even formatted the HDD and installed WIN98SE + IE5, and the first thing after installation was my attemt to login to 8052.com, but same problem.( This shows there is no problem with cookies)

d) As advised by you, I installed OPERA, but the problem persisted.
e) Finally, I tried Netscape 4.79, and problem got solved, on all of my PCs.


As I am not good at operating systems, I can't definitely comment about the problem, but I doubt that it is with 8052.com
