Is your problem that you want to write some dynamic data at a given position on your screen ? If so, then you CAN move the pointer in the display data ram to where you want to write and then change the message. To be honest though, thats a lot of hassle, its much simpler to update the whole display quickly every now and again. We have discussed just how you can store a fixed string in code memory and and add in the dynamics data. I would suggest that you search the site, but since I cannot remember the name of the thread that seems unfair.
