#26043 - PID control for series AC motor |
Hi,
I want to develop a controlled acceleration for a series ac motor using Triac switching. The switching is done by pulses given to the triac by microcontroller (AT89c8252) and I get the feedback through a rotory sensor(giving pulses) at the shaft. When an inductive load is applied the pulses from rotory sensor decrease and I have to maintain the speed by increasing the ac voltage to the motor by increasing rms Voltage of the triac. I have to use Assembly language for programming. My question is: 1.How do you control the switching of the triac PTA16(600V)(controlling V-rms)using digital pulses by the uC? 2.How to give soft start to the motor using PID logic? I have done the same thing using analog circuit but have not tried this giving digital pulses. Please Help. Nitin. |
